Sheiling House School was originally established to cater the needs education of the British children in Kanpur during 1958. Few Indian children were also admitted to the school and the school was known by name United Kingdom Citezen’s Association (U.K.C.A.). In 1958 when the English families were leaving Kanpur some Indian families decided to keep the school operating and registered the school in 1860. The school is now under the management of Sheiling House School Society.
Sheiling House School is an English medium Co-educational school having affiliation with the ICSE Board. The school conducts a pre admission test of the students who register for admission in Sheiling House School.
Infrastructure and other facilities at Sheiling House School
The school infrastructure includes three libraries each for the senior wing, middle wing and the junior wing. The science laboratories are equipped with all the latest and modern facilities. There are separate computer labs for the senior and junior students and the students are provided with the Internet facility in the computer labs. There is a health care center to provide help to the students in case of medical emergencies. The school has appointed a full time professional counselor to assist the students.

Social Gathering, SUPW, Music, Games, EVS, Art & Craft, Yoga, Karate, Gymnastics Swimming, Skating, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket and Football are the co-curricular and sports activities in which the students can participate at Sheiling House School. The school encourages its students to participate in different sports meets held at different levels in the country.
