What kind of quality material now godrej company is using or you are lauching the new applainces with testing them.

Sir I am addressing this complaint to u as your name and signature appear on the invoice.Sir I purchased a godrej fridge serial no:1107220100 model GFE 36 TZ on 7-8-2011 vide invoice no-81I/93105836 from your okhala delhi branch directly. On 21-8-11 I filed a complaint No:237149 on your helpline that the freezer of the fridge is not working properly that after the ice freezes it melts and then after sometime refreezes.Due to this the ice-creams meats etc.. thaw and then refreeze causing the foodstuff to spoil.
Sir ur technician vinod visited on 23.8.11 checked and went away.
24.8.11 technician vinod 2nd visit says bio meter not fitted correctly takes it out and refits.my problem persists.
31.8.11 technician sanjay changes bio meter.problem persists.I complain to Mr Dhiraj supervisor he promises to fix problem and send senior technician.
2.9.11 technician pradeep checks temperature defrost cycle and goes away.problem persists.I again complain to Mr.Arnav Sarkar and ask him to replace the frdge if it cant be fixed.
3.9.11 senior technician MrRakesh changes timer my problem still persists.
Sir till date 5 of your technicians have come 7 times on different days I have to be home at that time and spend 2 to 3 hours each time with them and till date the freezer is not working. Sir what crime have I committed by buying your product I have spent 31000 rupees of my hard earned money on it and 2 weeks after buying it I am being harassed I am running after your service people and the food stuff in my freezer is getting spoilt.

We had purchased a Godrej econ refrigerator on 21/11/2007 frm Vaidya Furnitures, Karjat. From last 30 to 40 days it was under repair, cooling problem. I complaint to vaidya furniture ( a shop from which i purchased) first on dt. 03.10.2011. after so many ph calls he send one person to my home, he checked freeze & told the compressor failed & hv to replaced, it will take 2-3 days. after than week also no one attend. when i call again to shop then he send another person to home he also checked & said the same as compressor gone & will be replaced within 8 days. Every time they take there visiting fee from me ( its not important) but still there is no any action taken upto day (Its very important). So many times i call them & every time they answer me that " Ur complaint launched - when company send compressor then only it will repair." Is it company closed...or having bad days...u cant sent a compressor..or company have not a value of customer ? Is it a GODREJ COSTUMER SERVICE..? What kind of quality now godrej company is using with there Customer..

I have a double door fridge

I have a double door fridge which is under AMC, and I had lodged a complaint with your call centre on 25/02/12 vide Ref 2502791663. I was assured the fault will be attended to within 24 hours. Thereafter I had been calling your call centre repeatedly and had even sent two mails to smartcare@godrej.com which was not even acknowledged by anyone. On 01/03/12 when I called the call centre again, I was informed my call had been closed in the system citing the reason that customer had refused to make payment. This is absolutely false since no technician ever visited my home, and moreover when the Fridge was under AMC there was no question of my refusal to pay.

Godrej attends to customer complaints in Noida through M/s United Home Care, and such people are tarnishing the good name of Godrej.
Thrugh this column I am requesting the Godrej management to take up this matter with their outsourced agency.

My case is very similar to one narrated here by Amrita on 09/12/2010 so I am not repeating here once again.
Yes I am also disappointed with the name Godrej. At one time we feel proud to own product of the company.
I have registered complaint to your customer care center today only. I want immediate replacement of the product by the company as once the guarantee would be over no body will listen my music.
Unless as done by others I also have to move to Consumer Forum.

I think it was my great

I think it was my great mistake that I had bought Godrej electronic product. I had bought a washing machine in the month of February’12 in replacement of Electrolux washing machine which I was using for last three years.
I didn’t have any problem with the earlier machine and in fact servicing was also not done in last three years. As it is my habit to change the electronic material after every three four years, I had exchanged my ELECTROLUX product with godrej.
In the month of May the filter portion of the machine had come out during washing. I called up your customer care department and after staying in the long queue I got a chance to talk to your customer care department and a complain was registered. As per the normal process one gentleman came to repair the same with the assurance of not repetition of the same problem.
Again the same problem occurred in July’12. I did the same exercise and got the service call No. K0607122397 .Another gentleman came, again the same assurance and hope was given.
Today, i.e 15th July’12 again the same portion of the machine has been detached and I am helpless and the type of service which is being provided by godrej is not upto the satisfaction of the customers.
Now I need the replacement of the machine or else I shall be compelled to move to the consumer forum.

As per the policy , we were asked to pay the complete amount before the kitchen is installed. Hence, we paid the complete Rs. 1.35 lacs trusting the dealer and the GODREJ Brand thinking that they will do a nice installation and ON TIME.

However, as of today, ( 18- Aug-2012) we have yet not received the Kitchen Completely and the installation has also not been done. Whenever we follow up we are told that the material is yet to come and is in process. Also, when we ask for refund they say that it cannot be refunded as the bill is generated.

We have been unable to shift to our new house due to the lack of Kitchen

One fine morning in the last week of July'2012 I found that the head support was getting detached from the main body. On opening the bed I found that the bootom box panel of the bed had sheared. I informed the local authorised center at City centre Durgapur , Mr Mohak Modi Contact No. 03432542750/9051838386 which I had got from customer care. After lot of chasing a technician was sent to look into the complaint. He took a photograph of the damage done and promised that the Godrej Authorised centre would let me know the repair cost. When I did not get any feedback, I personally visited the Godrej showroom . They told me after looking at the picture of the damaged bed which had been saved in their computer that the cost of replacement of both the bottom panels would be around Rs.8000 to 9000 . The lady at the desk told me that this had happened due to excess weight being put in the box compartments. I would like to inform that we have kept light weight suitcases of Samsonite in the box compartments containing woolen clothes. If this means excess weight , then what are these boxes meant for and in that case my teak bed would have given way long time back. I am very upset that within 4 years such an expensive bed from a reputed concern has got damaged.I would like to get the bed replaced with a new one or my money returned. I have purchased MicroOven

I have purchased MicroOven bearing model no - Goderej GMC 25E 09 MRGX dated 25.01.2009 from Great Eastern Appliances P Ltd, Uttarpara, West Bengal. I bought a Godrej Slimline

I bought a Godrej Slimline locker almirah on the 28th of Dec 2012 from Godrej Interio Store, Franchisee: Audi Furnishers, B-222,223 Opp. Sec-16 Metro Station, Noida. I made full payment on the 28th of Rs 15,500 (via Order number: 332) and was told that the almirah would be delivered at my place in a day and someone will come to ensemble it within 24 hours. Though the almirah was delivered at my doorstep on the 29th of Dec (via Invoice number: 237), no one came to ensemble it until the 5th of Jan despite my repeated follow-ups with Mr. Vinay (+91-9650503387) who took my order and the money at the franchisee.

On Saturday the 5th someone came to ensemble and said the franchisee has sent the wrong unit and the main doors of the almirah were missing. I personally went to see Mr. Vinay at the franchisee in Sector 16 and he said he will have the main doors delivered by Saturday itself. No one came on Saturday. I got a call from someone Mr. Pankaj (+91-9212217402) on Sunday he said he will come to install the doors by 1 PM. As expected, he did not turn up. I called him up again around 4 PM and he disconnected my call. Post that, I called up Mr. Vinay who said he will have the doors delivered to me by Sunday end of day. No one came on Sunday too.

This is thoroughly frustrating. I paid the full money on the 28th of December and even today i.e. on January 7th, the almirah has not been installed. I would request you to look into the matter and get it resolved at the earliest or direct the franchisee to refund my money.

I TOOK A APPROVAL OF THE SAID AMOUNT FROM MY COMPANY AND A MADE FULL PAYMENT IN ADVANCE TO THE DEALER.
BUT TO MY SURPRISE THE CHAIRS WERE DELIVERED TO ME WITHOUT THE HEAD REST .
WHEN I APPROACHED THE DEALER HE SAID THAT HE GAVE THE QUOTATION
WITHOUT THE HEADREST.

I TOLD HIM THAT THE CHAIR ON DISPLAY WAS WITH THE HEAD REST I ASKED
THE QUOTATION FOR THE SAME & YOU HAVE NO WHERE MENTIONED THAT YOU ARE GIVING ME A CHAIR WITHOUT THE HEAD REST. NOW WHEN I ASKED HIM OF THE PRICE BREAK UP HE IS DENYING OF THE DISCOUNT ALSO .
THIS IS A CLEAR CASE OF CHEATING .
THE CHAIR WITHOUT THE HEAD REST IS BECOMMING MEANING LESS AND WE DID
NOT LIKE IT ALSO. AND WE ARE LOOSING FAITH ON THE COMPANY AND TRYING TO FIND ALTERNATE FURNITURE FOR OUR CONFERENCE ROOM WHICH WE WERE PREPARING TO GIVE IT TO YOU.
AT THIS JUNCTURE I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST YOU TO TAKE BACK THE CHAIRS AND ARRANGE TO REFUND THE WHOLE AMOUNT OR, ARRANGE
TO FIX UP THE THE HEADREST FREE OF COST.
CONSIDERING THE REPUTATION OF THE COMPANY I WOULD EXPECT THAT YOU

On 21st Jan 2013 we have made the full Payment of Rs 19230/- On 31st Jan 2013 thay have Delivered the tables in which 3 Tables are of one Colour and other table is of different colour. After that we have called the dealer Mr Harish-9000999671 inchage of this items to replace that single table But till date no action were taken from there side and now he is not picking up our call. Due to this our Bill got struck in the Navy as we did not replaced that single table till now. We want you to take a severe action against this dealer orelse we have to lodge a complaint against them in Consumer Foram. Early action is highly appriaciable.

I ordered Godrej cupboard storwel M2 (with mirror)on 05/08/2012 with full
payment from Godrej authorised dealer S.G.Honkan & Co., Sirsi (Karwar
District) Kanataka.But after several remindings it was delivered on
October 3rd week 2012 that also without mirror & after several enquiry
mirror was fixed on December 2012. In April 2013 the mirror fixed to the
cupboard was fell and brokedown without doing anything. I contacted our
vendor Godrej authorised dealer S.G.Honkan & Co.,Sirsi (Cell-9448629193 ,
08304226396) he was simply replying that he would ask with his Hubli
Vendors for that. Now in May 2013 After repeatedly contacted now he is
telling that they are not giving any guarantee for that.I am realy fed up
with this kind of Godrej Service.

My concern is it the way the Company is giving service to the Customers? If
they affixed the mirror wrongly why should I borne that expenses again.

I have purchased godrej slimline comfort on 20-10-13 value of rupees 15000/-from anita furniture,belghoria,kol-94. They delivered dispute product 1st therefore, I did request to the distributer to change the product as soon as possible and they changed that product also but 2nd time also they have given me dispute product with uncomfortable door and bent body of that product therefore, I could not except as usual and I told them to change it immediate. I had purchased a new Godrej Cupboard H-1 Model (invoice 64i/ 24021406 dated 22 July ,2013) on 15th october, 2013. Full payment (Rs. 23500) was taken in advance by the said dealer. But to my surprise, I was delivered a defective piece which I refused to accept and on refusal, received a call from the dealer to accept the same as the defect according to them was the problem related to adjustment which the technician who accompanied the Cupboard would be able to remove.

He could not do the same and assured to do the needful next day. When no one turned up, we approached the dealer, he was denying for taking up the responsibility of fixing the defect or replacement of the defective product.

Therefore we registered a complaint against the same to Godrej. ( call no-D151070507) . Your technicians after observation declared that it is a manufacturing defect and Cupboard should be replaced by the dealer.

Dealer is least bothered to do the needful for the customer as he has made his money in advance. Finally after hundreds of follow up calls , we could get our product replaced which was sent to the dealer office itself. Now, he has taken the receiving in advance and now denying to deliver the product.

This is thoroughly frustrating. Inspite of full payment in advance on 15th October , you could not supply product to me in proper condition even today i.e. on November 30th. This has caused a major mental agony and inconvenience to my family..

We feel cheated and want you to take a severe action against this dealer or else we have to lodge a complaint against them and Godrej in Consumer Court if the problem is not sorted out properly within a week time. Early action is highly appreciable.

I have purchased a godrej cupboard for 16000 from ALAPPAT Showroom, VYTTILA, Ernakulam on 13th Sept 2013 by ready cash. Till today they didn’t send me the original bill of this purchase. almost 4 months are over. on the time of purchase they have communicated that , after delivery ALAPPAT show room people will send me the bill the same has to come from Godrej office. Everything I agreed, with one condition I need the bill with a date within one month period time, then only I can submit this to my company for reimbursement.

The lady who is sitting in the reception everything agreed. After one week of the payment date(13/Sept) I had called them because the delivery didn’t happen. Then this lady told me because of Onam vacation this delay happened. So I told OK. Again i had waited for one more week , then I had again called them, that time she told me "Sorry" because my purchase order no didn't send to Godrej. So I said no issues, mistake is humane. after two days I received a damaged piece, not able to lock the door, and the cupboard not at all balancing in the floor. Then i had called this ALAPPAT show room , the same receptionist, the lady told me this not their responsibility, I have to contact Godrej directly. That time i had very bad time with this Alappat people. So i directly called and logged a complaint. After one month i got a new working piece!!!

From that day onward i am following up this Alappat Show room people to get the original bill. They are telling small small issues every time, like computer is not working, the receptionist is on leave and now they are telling their boss is hospitalized.

Now I am not able to submit the bill for reimburse just because of irresponsibility and false promises from ALAPPAT. I have never experienced this kind of worst and irresponsible behavioural shop in the market.

I don't want this piece pls take it and reimburse my amount.

I had purchased my refrigerator on 07.06.2011 from vijay sales & my
refri.compressor is in warranty period of 5 years even if godrej
applied service charges 375Rs. & gas filling cost 1530 Rs which is
very high as compaired to market cost (gas refilled outside only 900
Rs.),I beleived on godrej product and buy but now my refrigerator
compressor stop working & no cooling. I have followup for technician,
and finding out quotation. shri enterprises supervisor told me costing
1755 Rs including relay replacement & same technician came from shri
enterprises told me 1905 Rs & which is differ. & supervisor told me
relay also need to be replaced unnecessary even if only my compressor
faulty.

In short i don't know my compressor is in warranty period but still
service charge + extra cost like gas refilling for compressor. & I
belive on godrej & purchased the product but no good service hence I
will never buy godrej hence forth.

So request you to replace my refrigerator compressor in warranty
period in lesser cost & please waiver service charge because my
compressor is in 5 yrs warranty period.

I has purchased a modular kitchen through your dealer in Kolkata (Behala Chowrasta) in 2010 however till date, after repeated requests my kitchen has not been been installed as per drawing provided by them. It's Mar 2014 and I am still awaiting to shift to my new home as without a working kitchen I cannot shift with my family. Godrej technicians are not bothered to complete the installation as per the initial measurement / drawing provided is incorrect and cannot fit in my kitchen, though they made me book the particular items as per the drawing.

I am struggling for availing service after paying service charges to Godrej service center, find below complete history of issue

1. Booked complaint (N1804 845614) with Godrej call center no- 18002095511 on 17th April’2014
2. Godrej technician (Vedirad, 9886702492) visited on same day in late evening and inspect the fridge and suggested to replace Gas filter and gas for which verbally he has given estimate of approx. 1750/-
3. He asked us to pay this amount in advance as per estimate but when I requested him that I will pay once to finish the job he asked me to call his boss Mr. Vijay (96200336620), when called 3-4 times he dint pick up. When technician Vedirad called he picked up immediately
4. When checked with Vijay he told you pay the service charges and tomorrow when you pay rest of amount as per estimate he will do the job
5. I paid Technician visit charges 375/- vide receipt no.095 dated 18th April’2014
6. I called again call center and Mr Tangaraj attended but he was not aware of advance amount process so he suggested me to call Bangalore Service executive Mr. Jai Prakash
7. Called Jayprakash so many time but he didn’t picked up
8. Next day i.e. on 19th when I called Vijay of Maria Refrigeration’s he refuse to send person for resolving the complaint without advance
9. Immediately I called Godrej Call center and Mr. Venketesh attended, on my request he connected me to Mr. Bala of call center and Bala suggested me to contact Bangalore service superwisor Mr. Mohan
10. I called Mohan but he also not supported and told you pay advance, I agree to pay advance but he told he will not able to provide service today he will send technician on Monday only i.e. on 21st April’14
11. Mean while I received SMS that my complain (N1804 845614) is closed with remark customer is not ready to pay estimated amount which is not at all correct
12. Again I called call center and spoken with Bala and re opened new complaint (N1904846357)with old complaint no. (N1804 845614) reference in it

Now I am awaiting Godrej so called prompt service helplessly after paying the service charges to technician

The Godrej service team had visited my home on 19-05-2014. The technician himself witnessed the problem as described earlier. But he failed to rectify the problem. According to him, the AC wont work if input voltage falls below 200V which is quite absurd. Later in the evening, the service center called up my wife at home and said that the new V-Guard which I had installed was malfunctioning.

It is quite clear than on failing to identify and rectify the problem, they are resorting to excuses. On my part, the complaint No.12863 is still open and has not been solved. I would request you to kindly do the needful so that I am able to operate my AC properly.

I am writing to express my displeasure with the kind of service i received
from Godrej. First of all, the distress ion was not limited to a
technician/dealer, but your customer support is misleading and insulting.
Since I am unable to get a helpful response from your customer support, I
am turning to you as a last resort.

Unfortunately, the newly bought Refrigerator was releasing water from the
day one I purchased. For which I lodged complaint (Q0806876059) with Godrej
Customer Care around three weeks ago, after which the technician visited
and elevated refrigerator from front side. Since the leakage didn't
stopped, I urged him to check again and he insisted not to lodge a new
complaint for his visit. After waiting for 3-4 days I registered new
complaint (Q2006877078) for no use. My daily activity is now to call
customer care for the resolution and everyday ended with a fake promise
many times.

To refresh memory of the details of my case I called yesterday on customer
care for the third time and had word with Anjali, she transferred my call
to Vishu (Floor Leader) and after 8 minutes of call he ended with
resolution that i have to call ASM Rajinder Kumar for the resolution of the
complaint, Unfortunately i kept on waiting him to respond (Busy, Not
Reachable, Switched off, Voice cracking) again a false statement from
customer care.

Kindly retract your statements and consider the ramifications of such
irresponsible comment, which will surely not go unnoticed.

I hope you are interested in regaining this confidence and looking forward
for the correction of this major issue I trust you will look into this
matter and resolve this issue on priority basis.

Since I am unable to get a helpful response from your tech team till now, I think you should be aware about the kind of service Godrej is giving to it's customers as below mentioned Complaint ID has been closed without any resolution to my initial issue.

Also, the lower chamber of the refrigerator is not cooling effectively after service, Water is still leaking and as per your technician stablizer free equipment needs a stablizer

And to my wonder complaint has been closed without customer sign off. Can I ask you why ?

I again request you guys to look into the matter seriously as this kind of service is a shame on the name of brand like GODREJ.

Complaint no. Z1507467650 dated 15.07.14 was registered with the problem of NO ICE FORMATION.
Your technician Mr. Ashish (contact no. 07838311434) visited and did the following on 16th July 2014:
1. Gas Charging within 5 minutes
2. Timer replacement

He provided the bill of Rs. 2250/- which we paid promptly. He was pressurizing for taking an AMC repeatedly.

Till next day there was no ice formation and on 17th July 2014 I complained again to the call center. The technician called up again and told that he will come and do the needful. But he did not turn up.

In the evening, I again called up the Customer care number. They made me aware that the complaint was closed by carrying out the Gas Charging.

So, today, I called up their Mumbai HO on 022-67961700 & spoke to Mr. Bagchi. He was very helpful and arranged for call from their Delhi office.

I got a call from Mr. Manish (011-66507621) and narrated the whole story to him. He has assured me to provide necessary assistance.

Let see.

But I humbly request Godrej to Close down or take some necessary action against M/s SERVOTECH SERVICES, B-53, Sector 60, NOIDA and their technician Mr. Ashish for misleading GODREJ as well their customer.

I do not know how many customers will be dissatisfied with GODREJ because of the Service Franchisee.

Well, This is not the question of money, I can get the work done from some local technician also but then I will never buy any product of GODREJ.
